Name: Apache Grey

Geology: A quarried schist. This stone is very hard but splits well along natural seams.

Special Notes: Apache Grey is a very popular choice for fireplaces, chimneys, and walls. Color does not alter as much as that of other stones but occasionally still changes.

Name: Appalachian Blue

Description: A dark gray and dark brown stone with copper and greenish tones throughout.

Geology: A quarried metamorphic stone. This stone is very hard and will only split along natural seams. It sometimes contains iron deposits which can cause rusting.

Special Notes: When using this stone, we recommend that you purchase enough stone to complete a single project due to occasional variations in color. This stone is an excellent choice for any veneer or dry-stack application.

Name: Rustic Brown

Description: A light brown to rust colored stone with streaks of dark and light gray.

Uses: Dry stack and Mortared Retaining Walls. Garden borders and Veneer

Geology: A quarried metamorphic stone. This stone is not as hard as a schist and therefore shapes and splits easily. There are high levels of iron that lead to rusting.

Special Notes: Rustic Brown should be purchased in quantities large enough to complete a single project. Color does not vary as much as some other stones though. The rusting caused by the iron content is very noticeable and adds character to this stone making it an excellent choice for interior or exterior applications.

Name: Alpine Grey

Description: A light gray stone with very slight greenish tones.

Geology: A quarried metamorphic stone. Alpine Grey is extremely hard, therefore hard to split and shape.

Special Notes: Alpine Grey is a very consistent stone with regard to color. There is virtually no rust and color is very consistent. This stone is an excellent choice for applications that require the green color and is also an excellent choice to blend with other colors for contrast.

Name: Ozark Brown

Description: A dark brown stone with charcoal and rust colored overtones

Name: Yosemite

Description: A tan and cream colored blend of colors characterize the appearance of this stone.

Geology: A quarried metamorphic stone. High levels of quartz. This stone is very hard and virtually impossible to split unless along a natural seam.
Special Notes: Yosemite is a uniquely colored stone. It is very consistent between pallets. The dark grey and rust colored tones make for a truly unique appearance. Excellent choice for interior and exterior applications.

Name: Copper Bay

Description: A greenish gray to light brown stone with very small white streaks throughout

Special Notes: Copper Bay creates a very rustic appearance. It's grayish green tones are very inviting in any veneer application and its consistency in thickness make it an excellent choice for stack projects.

Special Notes: Southwestern Blend is an excellent choice for any application. Colors do not change drastically between pallets, but do vary. Rusting pieces add to the character of this stone and make for a very exciting color scheme.
